Westerner Park, the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce, and Tourism Red Deer have teamed up to launch the new Westerner Days 2025 Attractions Pass.

Running from July 7-20, the Westerner Days Attractions Pass offers "incredible savings, exclusive rewards and a chance to earn points by attending local community events in Red Deer" leading up to and during Westerner Days, a joint media release stated on Monday, July 7.

“The Chamber is proud to support the launch of the new Westerner Days Attractions Pass, which not only celebrates our region’s biggest summer event but also shines a spotlight on local businesses,” said Mike Szyszka, interim CEO and board president of the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce

Participants can check in at community events like Pancake Breakfasts, Best Dressed Businesses, the Kick-Off Drive-In Movie Night and Westerner Days attractions including pony chuck races, the all new RCMP Musical Ride and more. Each check-in earns 100 points, which can be redeemed onsite during Westerner Days for rewards.

"Westerner Days has always been about bringing people together, and the new Attractions Pass adds an exciting layer of connection and discovery," said Shelly Flint, CEO of Westerner Park.

"From community breakfasts to RCMP Musical Ride shows, this pass is an invitation to fully experience the heart and energy of Westerner Days while supporting local events and businesses."

Here are some of the rewards people can earn through the Attractions Pass:

— BOGO General Admission to Westerner Days (1,000 points)

— BOGO popcorn, or fountain pop or other onsite offers (points vary)

— Entries into an exclusive grand prize: a draw for 2 VIP tickets to BINGO LOCO in Exhibition Hall Sept. 20

Westerner Days runs from July 16-20. For more information on the annual fair and exposition, visit www.westernerdays.ca.

“This pass is a win-win for our region,” said Jesse Smith, CEO at Tourism Red Deer.

“It drives visitation, supports local events and businesses, and rewards people for exploring everything Red Deer has to offer.”
