Brunin and Dalager win best gross at Ladies' Amateur

The Ladies West Coast Amateur golf tournament was held on Sunday, June 22 at Alberni Golf Club, with 44 women participating.

The Ladies West Coast Amateur golf tournament was held on Sunday, June 22 at Alberni Golf Club, with 44 women participating. The format was two-person partners, with winners in the gross and net division.

Coming in first gross was the duo of Tammy Brunin and Shari Dalager with a score of 75. Mariah Netzer and Melissa Netzer were second with 79. In third, also with 79 (decided by retrogression) were Chelsey DeLaRey and Toby Norris. Fourth low gross went to Dee Horie and Dar Michell, carding an 80.

In the net division first place went to Laurel Bowne and Robin Turner with a net score of 56. Then came Jennifer Zbinden and Laurie Appleyard with 62, Jani Denis and Crystal Hiltunen 64. Next was Yvonne Phipps and Nancy Griffin 64, Suzanne Jones and Michelle Cheetham 65. 

Finally, the twosome of Kathy White and Janice Cross had a net score of 66.
