LADIES' WEST COAST AMATEUR: In previous years the Ladies' West Coast Amateur has taken place the week after the men’s event. This year the ladies play on Sunday, June 30, two weeks after the men.

COMING UP: Next Sunday June 23 the Men’s Club will see action again, with a two-man Chapman Format. The day starts with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The sponsor for the day will be Ramsay, Lampman and Rhodes (RLR) Lawyers.

The format is as follows: both golfers tee off, then each playing your partner’s ball for the second shot. After the second shot partners select the ball they wish to score; whichever ball is selected the other player will take the next shot and continue to play that ball alternately to complete the hole. Follow that sequence for all 18 holes.

The only exception is Par 3s: pick the ball that you want to score after the first shots and play that ball alternately to complete the hole. The cost for the day will be $10.
