A South Surrey private school is sporting some new features.
White Rock Christian Academy celebrated a major milestone on May 30 with the grand opening of its new sports facility, a release said.
To mark the occasion, a community spring fair was held on the school’s campus to showcase the exciting new additions to WRCA’s outdoor space, including a high-performance artificial turf field, a covered basketball court, and a specially designed spring-foam playground area for younger students.
The fair offered something for everyone, and families had the opportunity to explore the new facilities while enjoying a sunny afternoon of fun and community, the release noted.
The new sports facility offers a safe, dynamic space for physical education, team sports, and outdoor play for students from junior kindergarten to Grade 12, it continued, and thanked the many donors, staff and volunteers who helped make the project happen.
"As the school continues to grow, WRCA remains dedicated to offering innovative learning environments that support both academic and personal development," the release said.
"With the successful launch of the new sports facility, the future continues to looks bright — and active — for WRCA students."
