Family Literacy day, Jan. 27, was celebrated at the old school in Spences Bridge.

The silent winter air at Tanamye Ranch was overwhelmed with the shuffling of snow pants, worn by the First Cache Creek Beavers.

It was a fun night for the families who attended Cache Creek Elementary School’s Play for Literacy last Thursday to celebrate Family Literacy Day. The organizers say they would like to make family games night a regular event so watch for future dates and places.

Piper Kevin Mac-Donald from Kamloops entertained a full house at the Legion last week for the annual Robbie Burns Supper with dancing and toasts and lots of Haggis and good food.
