The dates have been set for the second annual Chilliwack Puzzle Sale.

On Nov. 1 and 2, there will be thousands of puzzles available to buy, and every dollar will be going to the Chilliwack Salvation Army Food Bank.

This year, Realtor Gary Baars is matching the donations dollar-for-dollar, puzzle sale organizer Steve Klassen said.

Last year, more than 2,800 puzzles were donated (2,200 of which sold) and just over $10,000 was brought in for the food bank. Klassen is hoping to raise the same amount of money this year from puzzle sales.

So far, more than 2,300 puzzles have been donated and they are still asking for more.

There are three drop-off locations for puzzles: GP Home Furniture (44680 Yale Rd. W.) during business hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday; 46173 Stevenson Rd. seven days a week during daytime hours; and Envision Financial at 45840 Cheam Ave. during business hours.

There will be a bin out front of the Stevenson Road location, and also a container near the front awning at GP Home Furniture.

Donations will be accepted until Tuesday, Oct. 29.

The second annual Chilliwack Puzzle Sale benefiting the Salvation Army is Friday, Nov. 1 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon. The sale will be at Central Community Church at 46100 Chilliwack Central Rd.
