• Roses to all Surrey Memorial staff for all you do. Rotten tomatoes to whoever is in charge of parking at Surrey Memorial Hospital. There is no parking at 10 in the morning. People in wheelchairs, with walkers, are dropped off in no-parking areas. How does your staff get to work on time?

• Roses and my thanks to Aakash A. for finding my lost cellphone and making the effort to return it. All is good in the world!

• Rotten and stinky tomatoes to pedestrians crossing busy intersections, not paying attention to their surroundings and on their cellphones. It’s not a surprise that they get hit by drivers. It can’t be that important to be on your cellphones. Pay attention to your surroundings and drivers. Your lives matter. Please use some common sense. It’s not always the driver's fault.

• A huge pile of rotten and rancid tomatoes to neighbours on the cul-de-sac behind our cul-de-sac that have parked a huge yacht and a car on their front lawn. This neighbourhood is not a marina and they should park it at a marina, not in our residential neighbourhood. It’s trashing our beautiful neighbourhood. Also sending rotten tomatoes to Surrey Bylaws for not enforcing it and fining these disrespectful neighbours. We pay our property taxes for services that we aren’t getting. Shame, shame on all of you!

• Rotten tomatoes to Surrey for wasting taxpayers dollars on a roundabout at 134 Street and 92nd Avenue. The four-way stop worked just fine and everyone knows how it works. Most residents of Surrey don't have a clue on how to use a roundabout.

• A dump truck full of rotten tomatoes to the developer that bought our two manufactured home communities on King George Boulevard. You promised that we wouldn't live in a construction zone, yet I cannot drive in and out of our community without being stopped by trucks, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment ripping up our roads. BUT a van full of roses to our friends in the community that have come together to make it as bearable as possible with visits, barbecues, parties, and help.

• Rotten tomatoes to the City of Surrey for the construction mess on 80th Avenue and King George. When are they going to finish? I haven't seen any work for 2 full months.  The road is a bumpy  patchwork mess with orange cones and incomplete work. It's an eyesore and a safety hazard. Why does the city not finish one construction job before starting or rerouting its teams to others?

• Rotten tomatoes to the City of Surrey. Recently I had the opportunity to observe our tax dollars at work. After inching forward for 10 minutes I saw the reason for the delay. A new roundabout was being installed and some 20 workers or so (I had plenty of time to count them) were busily chatting or leaning on shovels doing nothing. They say that "Rome wasn't built in a day" but I daresay that it was still built faster than a Surrey roundabout.

• Rotten tomatoes to stores that offer money prizes for answering questions about their stores. Where do we find the monthly list of people who have won the money?
