Dear Editor,
On April 12 The Equality Project held an event called the Spring Fling as a fundraiser. The event included a light lunch, door prize, silent auction, and bake sale.
It was well attended and everyone had a good time. The door prize was a gift basket full of beauty products and was won by Mikaela. The combination of the bake sale and silent auction raised approximately $1,000 for The Equality Project Society.
We would like to officially thank Team Spring Fling for all their fantastic help! The team consisted of Julia Dupras, Briggy Schroeder, Patti McKenzie, Sue Falk, Sarah Wynter, Joanne Kaul, Mikaela Marando, Faith Linden, Laura Turner, and Suzanne Foster. We would also like to thank Laurel Zuidema for baking four loaves of sweetbreads without being asked.
