Congratulations to the elected city council of Campbell River for having the lowest property tax increase on Vancouver Island.
The 2025 rate of 2.89 per cent is because of having a balanced fiscal responsibility and solid maintenance of core services. The City of Duncan tax increase for 2025 is 11.1 per cent.
In summary it proves that if you vote in the proper city council your tax increase will be minimal. If you want to have a lower tax increase in the City of Duncan, remember to vote for the proper candidates in the next municipal elections to obtain this accomplishment. If not, then just keep on writing large property tax cheque payments.
