Dear Editor:

On behalf of the Ashcroft and District Hospice Society, I would like to shout out a very heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who attended our Palliative Care Week plant “sales” in Ashcroft and Cache Creek! We always enjoy the opportunity to meet and chat with, and offer support to, our community friends and neighbours from Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Clinton, Loon Lake, Spences Bridge, and Walhachin.

Special thanks to Horstings Farm, Gwen Dost, and our business supporters Nature’s Gifts and Safety Mart Foods. Also thank you to all our “green thumb” angels, who nurtured and donated the beautiful plants. Thank you Carol Madden for creating the beautiful stepping stones and plant markers! And thank you Barbara and the Journal, for always being there to support and promote our cause.

Please remember to take time to visit our Hospice Office at 509 Railway Avenue in Ashcroft, or call (778) 207-7575 for a chat, to consult, or to pick up some helpful resource information from our library.

We are so very blessed and grateful to live in such loving and supportive communities. Your generosity is overwhelming! Our hearts are full!

With care and gratitude,
Deborah Tedford, Chair
and the dedicated Hospice Volunteers
