Stettler Health Services Foundation donates over $360,000 in 2024-25

Many items donated to Stettler Hospital and Care Centre

The Stettler Health Services Foundation (SHSF) has had a busy 2024-25 fiscal year.

As of May 26, 2025, the organization had donated over $360,000 worth of equipment to the Stettler Hospital and Care Centre.

Equipment donated includes blanket warmers, wheelchairs, medication pumps, Panda Warmers, an ECG machine, and much more!

"Thank you for your ongoing support of healthcare services in Central Alberta," states a joint release from Alberta Health Services.

The SHSF has already gotten a headstart in fundraising for the 2025-26 fiscal year; on June 11, the SHSF was presented a cheque for just over $13,000 to purchase three Geriatric Chairs for the Stettler Hospital from this year's Tim Horton's Smile Cookie Campaign.

SHSF members Janet Chaney, Mary-Jane Jackson and Cheryl Barros were on hand to receive the donation.

As an additional donation, the Stettler Tim Hortons donated Smile stuffed animals to give to young emergency room patients.

The SHSF runs a number of fundraisers throughout the year, including the always popular Festival of Lights every November.
