Two men in their 70s were killed in a vehicle collision in Central Alberta on Saturday, July 5.
Just before 10 a.m., Sylvan Lake RCMP received a report of a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 766 and Highway 12, which is north of Eckville.
"Upon arrival, the two occupants of a GMC Sierra, 75-year-old and 72-year-old male residents of Lacombe, were deceased," RCMP said in a media release.
"The two occupants of a Dodge truck, 23-year-old and 19-year-old male residents of Red Deer, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries."
RCMP remained on scene for several hours conducting an investigation. Police are now clear and normal traffic flow has resumed.
