To help with its new location, the funds from a recent Rotary Club of Quesnel event has been donated to Nourish Food Bank.
On Thursday, July 10, Rotary Club president Linda Turner presented Sandra Davis, the Community Food Bank coordinator for Nourish Food Bank, a cheque for $5,000 to help with the food bank's recent move to 138 McLean Street after its old location at 101 Marsh Drive burned down in early May of this year.
The Rotary Club raised the money through its Dazzle in Disguise event, which took place on Saturday, May 31.
