UPDATE 3:05 p.m.

Highway 97 is fully open.

UPDATE: 10 a.m.

Major traffic congestion is being reported in Lake Country on Highway 97 southbound, due to the earlier incident.

Drivers should expect long delays near Duck Lake.

Traffic delays are expected for those heading into Kelowna from Lake Country, Oyama, and Vernon on Wednesday morning.

Around 7:50 a.m., a truck lost its oversized load, which was a modular home in the right lane on Highway 97 southbound close to Duck Lake.

Because of this, only the left lane is open southbound in the area.

According to a witness, traffic coming into Kelowna is currently backed up to brunch restaurant, The Jammery.

It's unknown if anyone was injured as a result of the incident.

The RCMP as well as an AIM Roads truck are on scene.
