Despite the postal strike, local letters to Santa will still get to their destination as the Sicamous Visitor Centre steps in to help.
The centre announced it will be collecting those all important letters to the jolly old elf this year from Nov. 28 to Wednesday, Dec. 11, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
"We are taking the overnight express sleigh and will be back with your return letters from Santa at 8:30 a.m. on December 12," the VC said in a Facebook post.
Santa asks that letter writers include their full name and address to ensure Visitor Centre staff can remind them about pick up at the centre, which can be done until Dec. 20 before 4:30 p.m.
