Job seekers connect with employers at career and education fair in Nanaimo

More than 35 exhibitors offer job and education opportunities at Country Club Centre

People looking for fresh opportunities to learn new skills or start careers perused dozens of information booths at the Nanaimo Career and Education Expo today.

The event was hosted at Country Club Centre shopping mall on Thursday, May 29, with more than 35 exhibitors on hand.

Private companies, health care providers and education institutes were represented, as were various agencies including law enforcement, corrections and military branches, to answer questions and offer advice about education and career directions.
