A group of women allegedly corrdinated a series of thefts in Mission since late June.

Mission RCMP are on the lookout for a group of women suspected of a "series of coordinated thefts. "

The detachment issued a warning to retailers after three women entered the Shopper’s Drug Mart on Lougheed Highway on June 30 and allegedly stole an entire shelf’s worth of cosmetic products

Police say an additional woman joined the trio to steal "a large quantity of perfume" from London Drugs in Mission on July 1 at around 2:15 p.m.

High-end gift sets were later stolen from Shopper's Drug Mart on July 5 by a pair of women.

RCMP say the group is believed to have ties to Ontario and was not previously known to police in Mission.

"At one of the stores, one of the suspects was also pushing a baby stroller, with a small child inside.  The women were well-organized, and in at least one of the instances, one of the suspects distracted an employee working in the cosmetics section, while the others reportedly took various items," police said.

Mounties are asking retailers throughout the area to familiarize themselves and their employees with the group.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.
