Aman Aman and Digvijay Digvijay, both aged 21, have been charged with first-degree murder in relation to the shooting death of 51-year-old Harjeet Dhadda in Mississauga, Ont. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Two men from Delta are facing charges of first-degree murder relating to the shooting death of a man in Ontario last month.

Peel Regional Police announced Tuesday (June 3) its Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau had arrested Aman Aman and Digvijay Digvijay, both aged 21, following an "intensive" investigation into the death of 51-year-old Harjeet Dhadda from Brampton, Ont.

Police allege that on Wednesday, May 14 at about 11:49 a.m., Dhadda was approached by the suspects and shot multiple times while in a parking lot near in Mississauga, Ont. He later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

The suspects fled in a stolen black 2018 Dodge Challenger, which was recovered shortly after the incident.

Investigators identified two suspects and tracked them to Delta, B.C., where on Wednesday, May 28 Peel Regional Police officers assisted by colleagues from the Delta Police Department, Abbotsford Police Department, Surrey Police Service and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (serving on the RCMP's Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team) executed a search warrant on a residence, locating and arresting Aman and Digvijay.

In its own press release issued by Tuesday, the Delta Police Department said neither the residence nor the two suspects were previously known to local authorities.

“This arrest is a testament to the unwavering perseverance and diligence of our homicide investigators. The strong collaboration with policing partners allows this family to take the next step toward justice for the loss of their loved one. Despite the suspects’ efforts to evade capture, our teams remained focused and relentless. This outcome sends a clear message: no matter how far you run, our teams will find you," Chief Nishan Duraiappah of the Peel Regional Police said in a press release.

Aman and Digvijay appeared before a judge in Surrey before being turned over to homicide detectives for transport back to Ontario, assisted by the British Columbia Sheriff Service. The pair then attended a bail hearing June 1 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Anyone with information about the case, or who may have been in the area and have video footage, are asked to contact Peel Regional Police's Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205.
