Cyclists roll up to Nanaimo's bike-to-work week celebration stations

Roadside refreshments and prizes for cyclists, runners, walkers, scooter and skateboard riders throughout the week

Volunteers and City of Nanaimo staff are keeping refreshments, swag and prize draw boxes handy for cyclists during GoByBike Week.

This year's event started with a launch party at Maffeo Sutton Park Saturday, May 30, and wraps up at the park Saturday, June 7, with a celebration and charity ride from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Throughout the week, celebration stations, hosted by local sponsors, popped up across the city, for riders to pull in and fuel up at, with coffee, snacks and chances to enter prize draws.
