Chilliwack pianist brings classical music to stage

Guest pianist Boris Konovalov, an instructor with the Chilliwack Academy of Music, will play Schumann's Piano Concerto during the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra's spring concert called 'The One and Only' on March 16, 2025.

A classical musician in Chilliwack is having a piano recital this spring.

Boris Konovalov's concert is set for Saturday, May 24 at the Salvation Army Church (46420 Brooks Ave.) at 3:30 p.m. 

He will be performing Mozart's Sonata in A major (Alla Turca), Beethoven's Sonata No. 23 in F minor (Appassionata), Chopin's six Études Opus 25, and Liszt's Liebestraum (O, Love) and Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6. 

Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and $20 for students.
