The 18th edition of the two-day fest returns to Holland Park on the weekend of July 19-20. Admission is free for live music, food and culture from around the world at the event, planned by the City of Surrey's special events team and partners.

Advertised as Western Canada’s largest multicultural celebration, the 2025 festival will also feature performances by Geeta Zaildar, Canadian singer-songwriter AHI, pop artist Josh Bogert and many others on eight stages, event organizers announced Tuesday (June 3).

Other performers listed and profiled on surreyfusionfestival.ca include Quilombera Afrocolombian Ensemble, Tambura Rasa, Tyler Del Pino & The Brasstronautz, Uzume Taiko, Eagle Ex Machina, Zelene Rojo, Caitlin Goulet, JESSAII, morning glories, Bastian SRS (power trio), Berk Jodoin, Emmett Jerome, Folk Star Arts Academy, Higher Ground Dance Company and Merlin the Magician.

Easy Star All-Stars, known for reggae-ized versions of iconic rock hits, will headline the festival's Main Stage on Saturday, July 19, followed by "Queen of Bhangra music" Miss Pooja and "a high-energy collaboration with Geeta Zaildar" on Sunday.

"Flavours of the World" is the festival's theme at 50 cultural pavilions, where community groups offer their country’s cuisine. Other attractions include a Family Zone, an Indigenous Village and marketplace, dance battles, cooking workshops, games and more.

"As we celebrate our 18th annual Surrey Fusion Festival, I am proud to see our city continue to shine as a beacon of multicultural vibrancy and community spirit,” Mayor Brenda Locke said in a news release.

“This festival not only showcases the rich tapestry of cultures that make Surrey so special, but also reinforces our commitment to fostering inclusive, lively, and engaging experiences for all residents and visitors. I look forward to welcoming everyone to Holland Park to enjoy the incredible performances, diverse flavours, and unforgettable moments that showcase the true spirit of Surrey. A big thank you to Coast Capital for being a dedicated presenting sponsor year after year.”

Also this summer, country siblings The Reklaws will headline Surrey's 2025 Canada Day party July 1 at Cloverdale's Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre, along with fellow Canadian singer-songwriter Goldie Boutilier and Indigenous rock ‘n’ roller Garret T. Willie.
