The Tuesday, July 1 Canada Day celebration was a huge success in Ladysmith.
Held at Transfer Beach the celebration was put on by the Town of Ladysmith's Parks, Recreation and Culture department.
It featured live bands, events and games for the kids and a pancake with sausages breakfast, hosted by the local Ladysmith Kinsmen Club.
Member of Parliament Tamara Kronis, sporting a red cowboy hat, was even to be seen serving up flapjacks to Mayor Deena Beeston with a lengthy line-up in the background. The Kinsmen estimate they served more than 400 pancake breakfasts.
