The Campbell River Eagles Ladies Auxiliary donated $500 to the Campbell River Beacon Club.
The Beacon Club is a social club for people living with chronic mental illness and substance misuse.
According to their website, the club is a vibrant, inclusive community supported by four part-time staff members and volunteers. Club members engage in eating meals together, and activities such as meditation, crafts, guitar lessons, and companionship.
