• Rotten tomatoes to people who try to tell us not to use our freedom of expression to boo the American anthem when that country is threatening the very existence of ours. It is a legitimate form of disapproval (and I don't recall the American athletes at the Invictus Games being booed, at least not at the opening or closing ceremonies — I was there). And the same people/person who are blaming our federal government for Trump's tariff threats (victim blaming). Are the federal Liberals also responsible for Trump's tariff threats against Mexico, the EU and anyone else he feels like? Ridiculous statements made, as well as blaming our drug laws for causing border issues that are in fact not causing a huge problem at the American border — another made-up story by Trump and ultra-Conservatives. Shame on you for being either being gullible or deliberately spreading false information for your political agenda.
• A huge bouquet of red roses and Canadian hockey sticks to our Canadian hockey players winning this hockey tournament against the U.S.A. hockey players. You demonstrated that this sport is our Canadian sport. We own it. Your hockey team won, and you have shown respect to the American hockey team.
• A dozen rotten tomatoes to Wayne Gretzky for consoling the American hockey team for their loss and not congratulating our Canadian hockey players on their victory. You are a Canadian, Wayne. What changed? Now Trump’s best friend! I have no more respect for you, Gretzky. You are Canadian but you have aligned with Trump. Shame, shame on you, turning your back on your Canadian country. You are a disgrace.
