• Roses to the workers that have to pick up the garbage from the same places all the time as those who have no respect for our city feel the right to litter and throw their garbage anywhere but in the garbage. Let's make Surrey a proud place to live, not a city to be ashamed of.
• Red roses and bouquets of red maple leaves to the Government of Canada for making it possible for every taxpayer to go to their MP's (Member of Parliament) office and get a free Canadian flag; and, if you want one flown at Parliament, go on a wait list which, presently, is over 100 years!
• A cart full of roses to my brilliant, devoted, responsible neighbour for spending hours cart training her high-energy dog and providing much-needed exercise and enjoyment for him. He loves it so much he can’t wait for her to get in the cart at times and has refused to go home because he wants to keep going. Neighbours support this with enthusiasm, as well as his vet and SPCA. Wave as you drive or walk by. Rotten tomatoes for those of you that judge this bonded team and make rude and inappropriate comments. Inquire and she will be happy to answer your questions.
