Notice is hereby given that City of Vernon Council is considering initial readings of the following Zoning Amendment Bylaw pursuant to the Local Government Act:

Property Location: 1600 15 Street

Legal Description: Lot 1, Sec. 35, TWP 9, ODYD, Plan 7642, Except Plans 19920 and 31500

Purpose: Bylaw 6029 is to rezone the property from AGRS – Agricultural & Rural Small Block (Non-ALR) to MUA – Multi-Unit Acreage Small Scale and PANS – Parks and Natural Spaces to develop an 85-Unit townhouse project and provide open space.

Present Zoning: AGRS – Agricultural & Rural Small Block (Non-ALR)

Proposed Zoning: MUA – Multi-Unit Acreage Small Scale and PANS – Parks and Natural Spaces

First Reading: Council will consider giving Bylaw 6029 first, second and third readings at the Regular Council meeting scheduled Monday, June 9, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber located at 3400 30th Street, Vernon, BC.
