The Board of Directors of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it will hold a Public Hearing in the TNRD Boardroom, 4th Floor - 465 Victoria Street, Kamloops, BC, to consider proposed Bylaw 2869, 2025.
What is Zoning Amendment Application No. BA 246, Bylaw 2869, 2025?
It would consider a site-specific amendment to the RL-1: Rural zone at 2990 Trans-Canada Highway, Semlin Valley, BC (PID: 003-396-762), as shown outlined on the adjacent map, to enable an expanded commercial compost facility on a portion of the property.
All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to provide input at the Public Hearing. Anyone who wishes to present at the Hearing virtually (via Zoom) must contact Legislative Services prior to noon on April 15, 2025, to arrange virtual access. Anyone may also make written submissions on the matter of Bylaw 2869, 2025 (via the options below), which must be received at our office prior to noon on April 15, 2025. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form part of the public record for this matter.
