More drugs and weapons have been removed from the streets of Kelowna.
The Kelowna RCMP Proactive Enforcement Unit seized a loaded handgun, additional firearms and illicit drugs during a targeted enforcement operation.
“This is exactly the kind of result we want to see from strategic, intelligence-led policing,” said Inspector Chris Goebel. “Removing loaded firearms and dangerous drugs from our community is a critical step toward ensuring the safety of residents, families, and businesses. These enforcement efforts reflect our commitment to pursuing public safety and preventing violence before it occurs.”
The Kelowna RCMP are encouraging the public to help them keep the community safe by reporting any illegal activity to 250-762-3300 or leaving an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
