An open house has been scheduled for Loon Lake property owners who are preparing to build or repair structures in the Loon Lake area.
Property owners who have suffered property or structural damage and who are planning to rebuild will benefit the most from this open house, which is an opportunity for Loon Lake property owners to discuss the challenges and potential solutions of the planning, building, and repairing process. There will be specialists from the Thompson-Nicola Regional District in the areas of planning and building, as well as representatives on hand from Interior Health, the Canadian Red Cross, and the United Way.
All property owners from the Loon Lake area are invited to come in and talk with the representatives on hand, with no appointments required. This is an opportunity to discuss individual questions and concerns face-to-face. As such, there are no group presentations scheduled.
The open house will take place on Saturday, June 26 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Loon Lake Community Hall at 1705 Loon Lake Road.
