The Wycliffe Disc Golf Course, one of the country's best, is just one amenity at Wycliffe Regional Park, home of the new RDEK's new campground.

The RDEK's new campground in Wycliffe Regional Park, first announced in April 2024, will soon be open for booking.

“We are excited to be able to offer this camping option to the public,” said Jamie Davies, RDEK Recreation & Control Services Supervisor.

“We have a top-rated 18-hole disc golf course, hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, bocce and horseshoe pits, ball fields, and fire pits. This new campground will make it easier for residents and visitors to enjoy those amenities even more.”

This new campground contains 20 unserviced campsites, with 12 designated for tents or small trailer, of a maximum length of 18 feet. There are also eight pull-through sites that will allow for larger trailers, up to a length of 32 feet.

“We live in a beautiful part of the world and these campsites will allow residents and visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery, and amenities offered at Wycliffe Regional Park, and explore the surrounding area," Davies said.

The campground will be open annually from the middle of May through September. Sites can be booked for a maximum of 14 nights per calendar year. Bookings open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 and can be found at rdek.bc.ca/wycliffecampground
