A small police presence in Kelowna on Tuesday morning was in response to a break-and-enter at a home in the Pandosy Corridor.
On June 24, the Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of a break-and-enter at a property undergoing renovations in the 600 block of Patterson Avenue. The house was empty at the time of the incident.
The homeowner returned to his property, saw signs of forced entry, and could hear people inside his home, prompting him to call the RCMP.
In total, five RCMP cruisers and multiple officers responded to the scene and set containment around the home. Once established, officers entered the home and found two individuals inside. They were taken into custody without incident.
The RCMP confirmed this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to public safety.
