Chilliwack gymnast, 14, earns 3 medals at 2025 Canada Championships

Chilliwack gymnast Nicholas Hajiadem, 14, has earned a trio of medals at the 2025 Canada Championships. 

Hajiadem represented B.C. in the event that ran May 26 to 30 in Calgary, winning gold in vault, silver on the parallel bars and bronze on the pommel.  

This was the Grade 9 G.W. Graham student's first year competing in the Junior 15-16 level. He finished 7th overall scores in the country 

"His coach told us that he is the only 14-year-old who can do the skill he does on vault and if he delivers he could win gold," his family wrote in an email to The Progress. "And he sure did! Thank you so much coaches for helping him get here!" 

His B.C. teammates were Elan States, Jonathan Ogilvie, Kiran Nadkarni, Reuben Dykstra and Sage Stelmack.
