Wildfire blazes between Port Renfrew and Lake Cowichan

The wildfire currently sits at 3 hectares according to BC Wildfire

A three-hectare wildfire is blazing at Harris Creek near Pacific Marine Road between Port Renfrew and Lake Cowichan, according to the BC Wildfire Service.

As of 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, the fire is labelled as out of control and suspected to be human-caused. There are three initial attack crews responding to the fire, as well as two helicopters and air tankers and two pieces of heavy equipment.
