The iconic tree next to Coalmont Station Park has a new look as another holiday is right around the corner.
The Tulameen and District Fire Department is spreading Easter cheer this spring by transforming the community tree into a festive spectacle, adorned with colourful decorations. The department shared a photo of the dressed-up tree on its Facebook page, as it always recognizes different holidays throughout the year by sprucing up the tree to celebrate.
Christmas, Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day have all been celebrated in the past. For Easter, vibrant yellow chicks in pink baskets, along with a wide variety of colourful eggs in and surrounding the tree, were used by the department to celebrate the joyous Spring day.
