A townhouse development proposed for Killdeer Road in Southwest Mission will be going to a public hearing.
The development includes 39 three-storey units, with bonus density options that could increase the unit count to 55.
Initial public feedback noted concerns about density, increased traffic, a lack of parking, limited green space, loss of trees, and blocked views, council heard at its May 5 meeting.
Council gave consideration to amending the Official Community Plan and approved first bylaw readings to change portions of the future land use of the property to allow the development to move forward.
The public hearing will be scheduled for a later date.
