Saanich police seek witnesses to hit and run at McKenzie Interchange

The crash happened early in the afternoon on June 1 and involved a grey SUV

Saanich police are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit and run at the Highway 1 McKenzie Interchange.

The crash happened around 1:15 p.m. on June 1 and involved a black Mazda 3 heading west on McKenzie Avenue and a grey SUV that was travelling east and turned left onto the northbound Trans-Canada Highway.

Police say the grey SUV struck the Mazda and left the scene without stopping.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage from the area between 1 and 1:20 p.m. is asked to call the non-emergency line at 250-475-4321 and reference file #25-9848.
