In January, let go of the old, welcome in the new, and cherish the possibilities that lie ahead.

Farewell to 2023! Now is the time to reflect on the past and set a few realistic goals for the future. By doing this we can start January with a sense of purpose and determination.

The Clinton Seniors’ Association had a very happy Christmas dinner party on Dec. 14. In lieu of exchanging gifts, the membership opted to make a contribution that would ultimately be forwarded to a charity. Members’ names were put in a hat and Ernie Ferguson’s name was drawn. He chose the Clinton Food Bank to be the recipient of the entire donation, $160. Thank you Ernie.

The next regular meeting of the Clinton Seniors’ Association will be on Jan. 18, following lunch at the Clinton Seniors’ Centre (217 Smith Avenue).

Happy Birthday to Robin Fennell (Jan. 27) and to me, Zee Chevalier (Jan. 29).

Aging gracefully means being flexible, being open, allowing change, enjoying change, and loving yourself.
