The District of Sicamous hit high gear Saturday afternoon, June 7, as it hosted the only Canadian qualifier for the upcoming 2025 Velosolutions Pump Track Championships.
For the second year in a row, Sicamous hosted the biking event that brought local talent together with international competitors all vying for a ticket to the finale in Monthey, Switzerland on Sept. 5.
Families and other fans cheered on the competitors that ranged in age from U9 to Masters 35+ giving it their all in the sun kissed heat of the day. Vendors were also on hand to keep people fed, hydrated and busy between heats.
