The workshops will take place at the Oak Bay Recreation Centre and the Monterey Recreation Centre.

Oak Bay is hosting a series of events to help it shape its long-term vision for the community.

Public workshops later this month will allow residents to contribute to the district’s Official Community Plan (OCP) revamp, which it expects to complete by the fall of 2025.

The OCP is a statement of objectives and policies that guide planning and land-use management in Oak Bay, while outlining long-term development plans and how the district plans to exercise its powers.

Here's where and when the workshops will take place:

  • May 22 from 4 to 8 p.m. – Oak Bay Recreation Centre’s Sports View Lounge
  • May 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Monterey Recreation Centre
  • May 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. – University of Victoria's Sngequ House
  • May 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Windsor Pavilion
