Oceanside RCMP are investigating a collision that involved a pickup truck and a motorcycle along Highway 19A at the intersection of Chartwell Boulevard and Eaglecrest Drive near Qualicum Beach.
The incident happened at approximately 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 5. Police at scene said they were piecing together what happened. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and was taken to hospital.
Traffic along Highway 19A had to be rerouted along Eaglecrest Drive and Chartwell Boulevard.
