Kelowna's Vanessa Mina won $675,000 with Set For Life.

Kelowna's Vanessa Mina couldn't believe her eyes when she scratched matching symbols on her lotto ticket.

“I asked my husband how many symbols I had to match, even though I knew it was three,” Mina said. “I had to make sure… I kept repeating, ‘Is it three?’”

Mina purchased a Set For Life ticket from the Real Canadian Superstore on Baron Road and won $675,000.

The local plans to travel overseas with her winnings and will look to purchase a home.

In 2025, B.C. lottery players have redeemed over $59 million in scratch and win prizes.
