Installing 23 additional parking spaces. Putting in a permanent concrete pit toilet. Paving an access road. Improving trail accessibility.
And it all starts Monday, May 5, resulting in the closure for the above improvements to the Sierra Road parking lot for the Grey Canal Trail (off Bella Vista Road and Crosby Road).
"The project requires a full parking lot closure for approximately 30 days, but access to the Grey Canal Trail will remain open for through traffic, with occasional and unscheduled closures throughout the project," said the Regional District of North Okanagan.
Users are requested to utilize alternative parking lots for this trail throughout the project.
