Are you looking for somewhere to watch the Stanley Cup hockey playoffs with friends? Five Acre Co. Events is hosting a watch party for Game 1 of the National Hockey League series pitting the Edmonton Oilers against Florida Panthers starting today (Wednesday, June 4).
Hockey fans of all ages are invited to join the watch party at the Kinsmen Community Centre (KCC), where the game will be shown on the big screen.
The doors open at 4:30 p.m. and puck drop is 5 p.m. Admission is a suggested $5 and there will be a wristband age verification system because the facility is licenced. Admission proceeds will help support future community events.
Pizza will be available by the slice. This event is BYOB for those 19 years and older.
The KCC is located at Unit 30, 4090 Hollywood Street on the Alberni District Fall Fair Grounds.
