A home has gone up in flames on Vernon's Bella Vista Road.
Fire crews could be seen tending to the blaze in the 6700 block of Bella Vista Saturday morning, June 28. Vernon Fire Rescue Services had one fire truck and a couple firefighters at the scene around 9:45 a.m. By that time, the fire appeared to have been largely out for some time.
The home appears to be a total loss, with extensive damage and most of the roof collapsed.
