Métis folk musician Kaeley Jade of Edmonton will perform at REVY.Live Outside this July 13, as part of her summer tour.

An award-winning Indigenous musician will be among the more than 60 artists taking the stage at Revelstoke's REVY.Live Outside series this summer.

Kaeley Jade, a Métis singer-songwriter based in Edmonton, will grace the Arts Revelstoke-organized music festival that runs from June 28 to Aug. 30, in conjunction with her summer tour for her 2024 album Turpentine.

Jade, who blends folk, pop, and indie rock with powerful storytelling, is famed for her "soaring vocals, rich harmonies and a magnetic stage presence," and "known for wearing her heart on her sleeve, whether delivering an intimate acoustic set or igniting the stage with her full band," a release reads.

Having performed across Canada at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, JUNOfest, International Indigenous Music Summit, Canmore Folk Music Festival and more, "she invites listeners to embrace change, find power in vulnerability, and love with intention" as she enters a new chapter.

Jade's tour, which debuted May 27 in Edmonton, is already taking her around B.C. and Alberta. It wraps up on Aug. 17 in Toronto, for a total of 20 shows.

"I’m so excited to bring my full band back to REVY.Live Outside," Jade said in the release. "So far, this tour has felt like a big campfire jam, so I’m really excited to share the stories behind my album Turpentine live and give audiences a sneak peek at the new songs we’ve been working on."

Turpentine has already collected various accolades, including a Canadian Folk Music Award, a nomination for a Western Canadian Music Award, and a Summer Solstice Indigenous Music Award.

Jade performs at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 13, in a free show at Revelstoke's Grizzly Plaza.

REVY.Live Outside kicks off this Saturday, June 28, with queer pop-roots singer-songwriter Caylie G.
