A highly-anticipated celebration of community, culture and local talent is returning to the Similkameen Valley in May.

The fourth annual MacKenzie Road Art and Wine Crawl is set to take place on the scenic grounds of Klippers Marketplace & Cafe and Row Fourteen restaurant at 625 and 725 MacKenzie Rd, Cawston on Sunday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free, family-friendly event brings together locals and visitors to enjoy a full day of art, music, community and wine.

The adventure begins at Klippers with a bustling hub of talented local artists, artisans, wineries, cideries, distilleries and breweries, showcasing the Similkameen's vibrant creative and culinary culture through tastings, vendors, informative workshops, live music and entertainment throughout the day. Freshly baked pastries, delicious organic coffee and handcrafted gifts, such as unique crafts, paintings, sculptures, jewellery and much more will also be available.

The celebration continues up the road at Row Fourteen, where even more tastings, vendors, workshops and performances will take place on the orchard-side grounds. An unforgettable farm-to-table dining experience will also be available at the restaurant during the event.

“We’re thrilled to host this event again this year,” said event organizer December Foster. “The MacKenzie Road Art and Wine Crawl provides a fantastic opportunity for local artists and performers to gain exposure and connect with the community. It’s all about celebrating creativity in a beautiful setting.”

There will also be live yoga and poi workshops, and live music performances by:

  • Kansas Lee
  • Kailee Duggan
  • Marcel
  • Conner Wright
  • Krista James

"Whether you're sipping wine under the sun, discovering one-of-a-kind handmade treasures, or dancing to live local music, the Art and Wine Crawl is a celebration of creativity, community and the natural beauty of the Similkameen," Foster said. "Come for the art, stay for the vibes."
