Cars collide on rainy morning in Langley

Police, firefighters called to collision on 200 Street during morning commute

At least two cars were involved in a collision that closed part of Langley's 200 Street during the morning rush hour on Wednesday, July 9.

The crash happened just before 7 a.m., according to Langley Township deputy fire chief Russ Jenkins.

RCMP officers and firefighters showed up to the multi-vehicle crash just north of 72 Avenue. The cars had been heading south at the time of the crash, Jenkins said.

The collision left southbound traffic at just one lane for part of the morning.

The drivers involved turned down offers of medical attention, Jenkins said.

RCMP were looking into the cause of the crash.
