Sam Weiss, who was wanted by police in the B.C. Interior has died.
Corporal James Grandy, district advisory, media relations, Southeast District confirmed his death to the Tribune, but said he could not comment on how he died.
A GoFundMe to help his family with funeral expenses noted Weiss died in a car accident 800 km away from home.
Williams Lake RCMP had issued three separate news releases in January, August and September asking the public for information on Weiss's whereabouts.
