Hobbies of all kinds will be in the spotlight as the chosen theme for the 2025 Armstrong IPE and Stampede Aug. 27-31.

Collectibles. Crafts. Books. Coins. Buttons.

Whatever your hobby, this is the year for you in Armstrong.

The 124th Interior Provincial Exhibition and Stampede (IPE) will put its spotlight on Div. 14 - Hobbies. It's where creativity, passion, and skill all shine, and will be the theme for this year's exhibition.

The IPE will be The Hobbiest Place on Earth Aug. 27-31.

"A hobby is what you do in your spare time; something you love, something that brings joy," said the IPE in a release. "Having hobbies is important for mental and physical well-being, offering stress relief, and enhancing overall happiness.

"Whether it’s woodworking, painting, cake decorating, collecting, or quilting, hobbies reflect creativity and dedication. This year, the IPE is truly 'The Hobbiest Place on Earth' – a place to showcase the incredible talents of our community members."

The IPE invites exhibitors of all ages to share their crafts, collections, and creations with thousands of fair-goers. More than just a showcase, hobbies are a source of inspiration, encouraging people to explore new interests and embrace the spirit of lifelong learning.

"And of course, we all love the fair," said the IPE. "From thrilling rodeo action and live entertainment to delicious fair food and family fun, the IPE & Stampede continues to be a beloved tradition that brings people together year after year. Together let’s make the fair the ‘Hobbiest’ Place on Earth."
