A man found himself without a licence or vehicle after drugs put the brakes on his early morning drive near Sicamous.
At 7:30 a.m. on June 27, a Sicamous RCMP officer saw a vehicle driving at "a slow speed" on Highway 1 by Gill Avenue.
"The driver was signalling a turn; however, he continued to drive past the officer," Sgt. Murray McNeil said in a media release. "A traffic stop was conducted and drug paraphernalia was observed in plain sight."
The driver showed signs of impairment, which resulted in his drivers licence being suspended for 24 hours, and his vehicle towed from the scene.
